‘REAL FREEDOM’ IS NOW ‘YUGA DHARMA’

We are evolving.

For some time, this space has been called Real Freedom. And now Real Freedom is set to grow into Yuga Dharma

It began with a simple inquiry: What does it truly mean to be free?

Freedom is one of the most celebrated and yet, a misunderstood word of our time. It is often reduced to the absence of boundaries, the rejection of restraint, or the ability to do whatever one wishes. But real freedom is not merely freedom from. It is also freedom for. Freedom must eventually find its purpose.

As your inquiry deepened, so did ours.

We realised that it is no longer enough to keep examining the boundaries of freedom. The time has come to move from reflection to participation, from asking what freedom means to living what this age requires of us.

And so, Real Freedom is becoming Yuga Dharma.

Yuga Dharma is the sacred responsibility appropriate to an age. In Kali Yuga, it invites us to bring timeless spiritual wisdom into the language, culture, struggles, questions, and possibilities of the present. Not by diluting the scriptures, but by using them as-is and by building living bridges between eternal truth and today’s young, restless, and ever-searching minds.

This evolution also expands the purpose and parameters of our work.

Alongside writing and reflection, we envision a living ecosystem of kirtans, bhajan clubbing, gau seva, literature, sacred conversations, and joyful forms of spiritual participation that make dharma accessible without making it shallow.

We will have registered the Yuga Dharma Foundation, a not-for-profit foundation created to nurture and empower initiatives connected with the dharma of this age.

This is not a farewell to Real Freedom. It is Real Freedom discovering its true dharma.

The little blog has found a larger pair of shoes. Now, with Guru and Krishna’s grace, we begin walking in them.
